Cut Me Down To Size!

Take one or two simple straight chairs, cut them down, and “presto!” you have a couple of chairs that look like they were made for gnomes. But wait! Take a little paint, splash it onto the chairs, recover the seats in a perky fabric and now you have two adorable chairs for gnomes.

You might think; Why would I want two such chairs? Try pushing these chairs underneath your coffee table in a den or sitting room and you will be surprised at how cute they look tucked under the table. All of a sudden, you have a perfect spot for children to do homework, a project, or have a snack. It’s also the perfect spot for an adult to use to eat dinner while watching the game. The picture that you see is of two chairs that I have in my sitting room and we use them all the time.

Luckily for me, I hit some garage sales late one Saturday afternoon and these two chairs were given to me. I brought them home, the “Handsome Handyman” cut them down to the right size. I painted the chairs, recovered the seats, and now they fit right into my sitting room. I couldn’t give them up to any gnome that might come along.
